• Making It in the Midwest - Artists Who Chose to Stay
Rob Day is participating in an invitational exhibition curated by Rachel Perry at the Indiana State Museum, June 20 - October 18, 2009. Explore the challenges facing working artists in the Midwest and discover the extraordinary talent found throughout Indiana and the surrounding region. The exhibit will bring together an important array of historical works, many of which are in private collections and have not been seen publicly for decades. By presenting both historical and contemporary perspectives, the exhibit uncovers the ways artists have earned recognition when working outside the centers of the art world.

Dreaming in Vivid Color - Indianapolis Arts Center, May 8 - June 16, 2009. A group exhibit with works from artists who make up the most recent round of the Indianapolis Arts Council's Creative Renewal Arts Fellows.
• Indiana State Museum, January 2009
The Indiana State Museum purchased Saint Sebastian, a recent painting by Rob Day. The painting is now part of the Museum's permanent collection.
• Gen Art Vanguard Art Fair / Art Basel, Miami, December, 2008
Nymph of Spring, a recent oil on panel by Rob Day sold at the Gen Art Vanguard Art Fair in Miami. The painting was included in the KNOW exhibit presented by Mark Murphey / Murphey Design and held during this year’s Art Basel in Miami. Featured artists in the exhibit included: Mark Ryden, Ray Caesar, Jeff Soto, Cathie Bleck, Amy Crehore and more.

• Muse Medallion, December, 2008
Rob Day's painting, Winter Cats, which appears on the cover of the IndyFeral 2008 calendar, received a Muse Medallion award from the Cat Writer's Association. The calendar was recognized during the Association's 15th annual conference held in conjunction with the CFA International Cat Show.

Rob Day has been commissioned by Christianity Today International to paint an oil on canvas portrait of its founder, Billy Graham.
