Welcome Race Fans

Animated GIF created for a collaborative project of the Arts Council of Indianapolis and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). The GIF was designed to be shared on the big screens around the IMS, the Indianapolis International Airport, and projected onto Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis during there month of May. “Welcome” transitions into 7 different languages representing the 13 nationalities of the drivers participating in the Indycar Series. The black, brown & white and rainbow checkerboard patterns reflect the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Race for Equality & Change Initiative.
